No surprises, every blogger on earth is going nuts over the Apple iPhone announcement this morning.
I won't repeat the features and blah blah blah, as you've probably memorised them by now anyway. But I do have some questions:
So 80% of the 'insider' rumors seem to be wrong. It wouldn't surprise me if Apple releases false info on purpose to the mac rumor sites.
The thing that excites me most about the phone (other than finally being able to chuck my 3G Motorola piece of crap) is the Multi-touch technology. I'm a big fan of mouse gestures, and would love to see some kind of gesture interface.
I think the interface as a whole is the largest step forward in phone usability since touch tone phones. The interface for txting has always been severely broken. Most people, paticularly older people, find texting really difficult to learn, and time consuming. I shouldn't have to press a button 15 times to type a question mark. Hopefully the onscreen keyboard will help in this area.
I guess we'll find out in June.
