The talented team at Enlighten has recently been investigating jQuery as a platform for enhanced user interface design and general ajaxy goodness recently, and I've been having the odd sensation that its actually a form of programming that I enjoy (wtf?).

I'm a bit late to this party, but the company I work for, Enlighten Designs, recently won the Innovation Award at the Waikato Business Excellence Awards. After coming finalists or highly commended in these awards since 1999, its great to finally get a win, and I think it has finally established us as a company to watch in the NZ web development industry.

After an almost solid 2 months of work on my part, Enlighten Designs website has been launched. Its been less than 24 hours, but its already been linked on numerous CSS showcase sites, and seems to be getting widely positive feedback.

Enlighten Designs are looking for an Intermediate Web Designer to join our team.

You should be at home in Photoshop, and have a solid understanding of HTML/CSS, but the most important thing is that your portfolio impresses me. So send them to me.
