You know you're a designer when you line up your MSN windows to the grid of whatever website you have open in the background.

Either that or you've got OCD :)

Steve, your CSS walkthrough is one of the best I've ever seen. I'm going to teach a basic design class for teenagers this year and, with your permission, I'd like to use your walkthrough as one of the later class exercises, after they get their feet wet creating less tricky sites and get some basic concepts down.

It also helps in the redesign of our home site, a startlingly ugly site that we had a professional come in, get about halfway through, and abandon ship. So I and the site owner, equally an amateur, are left holding the kitty. Some of the techniques featured in your walkthrough will help a great deal. Thanks!
